Before the announcement, Strauss Zelnick, CEO of Rockstar Games' parent company Take-Two, had already said that the promotional campaign for GTA VI would begin in the summer. Now, it seems that schedule is confirmed, with the release date almost certain to be November 19, 2026, as Zelnick stated in an interview with Bloomberg.

Additionally, the pre-order details also bring nostalgic anticipation, as we'll know the price of Rockstar's new blockbuster within a week. Bank of America economist Omar Dessouky estimates that GTA VI will cost around $80, which is around €74 right now. That would put the game $10 above other popular titles in the North American market, with other analysts suggesting it could go as high as $100 per copy. However, we expect Rockstar to keep the price around the usual range for triple A titles in Europe, around €79.99.

## TechNoid.gr's opinion

Rockstar Games' announcement of Grand Theft Auto VI has sparked a lot of interest in the gaming community, not only globally but also in Greece. The anticipation for a new experience in the world of GTA is greater than ever, and the option to pre-order is reinforcing the sense of impatience among fans. While pricing is always a key point, it is important to emphasize that Rockstar's new approach to the game could have a significant impact on the market. We look forward to the creative direction of the title and the new features that we expect to be incorporated.
